The project 4C was started in 2002 at the Technical University of Munich under supervision of Prof. W. A. Wall and developed for a long time under the label BACI. Currently, it is developed in collaboration between the Technical University of Munich (Germany), the University of the Bundeswehr Munich (Germany), Hamburg University of Technology (Germany), the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon (Germany), and the German Aerospace Center (Germany). The collaboration is coordinated by Prof. W. Wall, Prof. A. Popp, and Prof. C. J. Cyron.
